You can install the 4 Ton MrCool Evaporator Coil - Vertical - 21 inch Cabinet into your vertical furnace or air handler easily and quickly, making it an ideal choice for busy homeowners. This evaporator coil has an external cabinet mounted distributor body designed for easy changing of the orifices and fast TXV connections. Also, there are two dual drains on the front of the coil for simple installation of drain lines and utility connections.
After installation, any repairs or part replacements are similarly easy. This evaporator coil comes with a parts warranty from MrCool to mitigate the cost for you, while the strategic design makes service access as simple and quick as possible, including tubing located at the door split and foil-faced insulation.
The drain pan has been carefully constructed to keep your air handler or furnace running smoothly for years to come. The drain pan protects your home from any water or moisture that collects on the evaporator coil, not only potentially saving you thousands of dollars in water damage, but also keeping you safe from harmful bacteria or mold growth that abounds in waterlogged areas. Even within the drain pan itself, special antimicrobial properties prevent the overgrowth of bacteria, which—if allowed to grow—can eventually cause your furnace or air handler to fail.
